Luke’s birthday is the 21st and as usual I’m far behind on party prep. We’re keeping it simple with a party in the park, cupcakes and pizza. I thought for sure he’d pick the Star Wars theme, but no, he wants Iron Man. I thought I’d do decorative cookies as favors. What do you think is the likelihood I could do these cookies? Yeah, that’s what I thought too. I’d just order them from this lady’s bakery, unfortunately she only sells in the Toronto (CANADA!) area. I bake absolutely fabulous cookies, but I’m an absolute slouch in the decorating department, but as I’m deconstructing this design, I’m wondering if it can’t be done with templates of some sort. Or maybe I’ll just do the circle thingie that’s on his outfit.

I’ll tell you from experience that frosting cookies aren’t nearly as easy to do as one might think. The one time I tried them they took FOREVAH to complete.
