Some of y’all might remember when I started on this beauty way back in 2007. Now three years and one move later I’ve finally had a chance to finish it. Isn’t it gorgeous. Solid maple that some idiot painted probably about thirty years ago with OIL-BASED PAINT and let me tell you, stripping oil-based paint off a maple piece is not something I want to try again. I bought all three pieces about twenty years ago for $200. I refinished the chest of drawers first and it looks great. The only thing left is the bed, and frankly I’m so not looking forward to it. It’s a four-poster and posts are carved.
