Detroit prosecutor Kim Worthy is working through a backlog of more than 11k rape kits. Some of these rapists have gone on to kill while the rvidence to convict them has been languishing ina warehouse. Help get these perpetrators off the streets. Note, this is phenomenon is not limited to Detroit. It costs $1500 to process a rape kit and many of our cash strapped cities simply don’t have the cash. We must make this a priority.
