I’ve always loved this song. I’m kinda bummed that I can’t find the Staple singers performing it on Youtube. Right now (when I can stay awake) I’m working on a synopsis for a story about a couple who “had” to get married. After 20+ years of marriage, they gradually drifted apart and divorced. The kids are grown, now all of a sudden they’re “creeping” together and seriously letting their freak flags fly. It’s my first “grown folks” story and this song seemed like an appropriate title.
