Today was book character dress-up day at Luke’s school. In Luke Goes to Bat, the little boy in the story is a huge Jackie Robinson fan who more than anything wants to play stickball with the older boys. Then his grandmother takes him to a Dodgers game at Ebbets field and he sees Jackie Robinson make the game winning homerun.
Whit and I made the costume. We thought it would be simple to find a Dodgers shirt…meh, not so much. So we had to draw it on. I think it turned out nice.
