Can’t believe I’m about to make a recipe from Semi-Ho. We’ve been reading ‘The Gingerbread Man,’ and of course, he wants to make one. My scratch recipe is a bit labor-intensive, so I’m going to give these a shot.

I haven’t made them yet, we’re going to do it tomorrow, so I’ll be sure to let you know how they turn out.
Oh yeah, I’ll add that to the laundry list of other crap I’ve got to do. I think I’m going to file a petition to make Christmas a biannual event. This is way too much work.
I hope they turn out well. I’m baking cookies to give as presents this year for the first time, and I need recipes that not even I can mess up!
I’m very surprised. The cookies are quite good. I’m a devoted scratch cook, but these are as good as the ones I make from scratch by far. Don’t sleep on Semi-Ho.
