My girl Monnie has a post up on her blog about Thanksgiving prep. Got me to wondering about cake people and pie people. It’s been my experience that most people fall into one or the other category. Whit’s folks are pie people. I’ll probably be baking apple and pumpkin pie for them. OTOH, my family are cake people, for Thanksgiving with them I’d be baking German Chocolate Cake and probably a pound cake. 
So, which one are you, Cake People or Pie People? And by all means share your faves, recipes in particular are appreciated.
