Halloween was hella strange at our house. I’ve always enjoyed the holiday, and Luke’s had his costume since early September. Our street doesn’t have sidewalks and there were no trick or treaters. I guess most of the folks around here belong to ‘swim and tennis’ clubs and they go to Halloween parties. So not our style. I would hope that by next year we’ll know more people and maybe find a neighborhood to trick or treat in. There’s a neighborhood about a mile or so away that has old Victorian houses and everyone goes there to trick or treat. And when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. They have to have the police in to direct traffic. My guess is that there were at least five thousand people there. Unbelievable. There’s no parking so we had to walk. It goes without saying that we won’t be doing THAT again.
Anyway, here’s our little Iron Man and the pumpkin his daddy carved.
I never thought I’d say this about a little boy, but I have to give it to you: He’s just as cute as my sons.
